So we’ve been busy lately…

We’ve had lots going on in the family here lately. Here’s a quick rundown of what all is going on:
Michael has been having a ball covering the Wren football teams. He does such a great job capturing some really spectacular plays. I am really proud of him and his talent - he truly has an eye for great shots. His business is starting to pick up, too.
I’ve been busy organizing a monthly Crop Club at my office. One Monday night a month we meet to organize pictures, work on our scrapbooks, and most importantly just have fun hanging out. I’ve gotten a lot done and I can’t wait for the next meeting!
Nathan just received his Life Scout rank - what an honor! Next stop - Eagle! It will be a while before he reaches that point - he has merit badges to earn and one big service project to plan, implement, and execute first.
Matthew has been helping out at a local farm on the weekends. Ever since he started school, one of his favorite classes has been Agriculture Science. His intention is to take Ag Science classes throughout high school, since the animal care side of it would be great for his plans to become a vet. Anyway, he has joined the FFA and has been involved in events such as Farm Day.
Last weekend we all went to see Facing the Giants at the theater. If you haven’t seen this movie, YOU MUST GO SEE IT!! It is most definitely a Christian movie with a powerful message. An absolutely delightful movie and perfect for the entire family. It was produced and filmed by a church in Georgia. Everyone involved with the film - actors, writers, producers - is involved in some way with the church or it’s school. It’s a low budget film but has done phenomenally well and has definitely held it’s own against all those big-budget Hollywood movies. I don’t know how long it will be running in the theaters, so don’t wait - go as soon as you can! Take some tissues, y’all, it’s a tearjerker.
Well, that’s about all. Let me know what’s going on in your family!
